SPECIAL EVENTS

Le Bal de Ballet

Our signature fundraiser is a glorious night with the presentation of Debutantes and Young Men of Distinction, dancing and dining. Held the first part of June, it’s a whirl of young ladies in white dresses and young men in tails, with family and friends in attendance elegantly attired in ball gowns and black tie.

Le Bal de Ballet 2023 Formal Presentation will take place on June 10th at 6pm at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House followed by the Grand Ball at the Sheraton Downtown Denver.

If you would like to attend the ball, please contact our Chair, Maura Johnson at lebal2023@gmail.com

Fall Membership Luncheon

Held in late September invites all current members and encourages new members. Potential members will have an opportunity to learn about the activities of the DBG and to see a professional dance company supported by the Guild perform.

Fall Fundraiser "Art in Motion"

Held in the fall, our annual membership fundraiser provides a fun event for current members, new members and guests to socialize, dance and bid on fun items.

Annual Spring Luncheon
Held in the Spring, the luncheon is for the purpose of electing and installing officers and conducting any business that needs attention for the smooth operation of the Denver Ballet Guild. Before the business, a dance company the Guild supports will entertain.

Dance Dates

The Dance Dates Committee is a revitalized committee that is aiming to increase awareness of and attendance at performances of our grant recipient companies by DBG members. Currently, Denver Ballet Guild grants funding to Ballet Ariel, Boulder Ballet, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Colorado Ballet, Hannah Kahn Dance, Kim Robards Dance, 3rd Law Dance, Wonderbound and Zikr Dance Ensemble. Watch for a list of performances, both virtual and in-person, for these companies on the DBG website and OnTap newsletter. Other community dance related events may be included as well.  The committee is also exploring ways to host a Dance Date experience with virtual performances. Plans are developing for in-person Dance Dates at Vail International Dance Festival in August and in October at Grand Lake, CO to watch Cleo Parker Robinson Dance.  Members who would like to be involved in the Dance Dates committee or who have ideas should email DanceDates@denverballetguild.org.
