Denver Ballet Guild Events, from elegant to fanciful

One of Denver’s largest all volunteer groups, Denver Ballet Guild has been able to award hundreds of thousands of dollars to the professional dance companies of Colorado, provide scholarships for thousands of young dancers, and offer thousands of Denver area school children the magical experience of watching a live dance performance in a theater setting, all through fundraising events.

What do dancers, tea party and Colorado history have in common? The Denver Ballet Guild Annual Spring Luncheon! Join us for a fun tea party event with full luncheon served. Hannah Kahn Dance Company will be performing!

Our signature fundraiser, Le Bal de Ballet, is a glorious night with the presentation of Debutantes and Young Men of Distinction, dancing and dining.  Held the first part of June, it’s a whirl of young ladies in white dress and young men in tails, with family and friends in attendance elegantly attired in elegant ball gowns and black tie.

A Taste for Dance, this popular wine tasting event for Guild members and their guests features an exciting silent auction with everything from trinkets to trips, plus delicious hors d' oeuvres, and of course wines to taste and enjoy. This event helps provide funds for Showcase of Dance to transport more school children to the extraordinary world of live dance. Held in early November.

Divas For Dance, A fabulous "girls only" evening of fashion, fun and dance for Guild members and their friends.

Fall Membership Luncheon held in late September invites all current members and encourages new members.  Potential members will have an opportunity to learn about the activities of the DBG and to see a professional dance company supported by the Guild perform.

Spring Annual Luncheon held in late April is for the purpose of electing and installing officers and conducting any business that needs attention for the smooth operation of the Denver Ballet Guild.  Before the business, a dance company the Guild supports will entertain.
